We had some serious family fun at Uncle Shucks! They have all the fall staples - pumpkin patch, pony rides, play area, hayride, bonfire, yummy concessions, and corn mazes galore! There is a corn maze for just about every age and skill set... but our favorite was their haunted one, The Dark Rows.

This is the perfect haunted attraction for your Haunt Junkie Jr.! It had just the right amount of scare (the actors will adjust as needed), enough cool effects to keep us adults entertained, and it's all for a good cause. The proceeds benefit a local cheerleading squad with many of the girls working as actors and taking part in the scares.

This haunt is mostly outdoors with a few small shelters constructed to house more scare scenes. And woah... we were super surprised by the level of props and effects they managed to incorporate in these small buildings.

Costuming was all over the place in terms of degree of detail but it all seemed to work. The ages of the actors ranged from 5 to 30's. This just further reinforced the overall family feel and environment of Uncle Shucks.

If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram you may have seen our daughter's video review. She gave them "fifty hundred" stars (she's 5). We are going to give them 4 because we think they could give us more. Can't wait to see what they come up with next year.!
